Leqembi® (lecanemab)
Leqembi is an FDA-approved treatment for certain people in the early symptomatic stages of Alzheimer’s disease. It targets amyloid in the brain and is intended to slow disease progression rather than cure or reverse Alzheimer’s disease.
Because treatment can involve important safety considerations, including brain-imaging changes known as ARIA, patients need appropriate evaluation and monitoring by an experienced healthcare team.
