Our board brings together experience in medicine, dementia and memory care, infectious disease and public health, elder law and estate planning, healthcare finance and operations, clinical research, communications, patient advocacy, and community service. Their combined perspectives help the Alliance connect families with practical, compassionate, and informed support.
Mauricio Concha, MD, MHS
Dr. Concha is a neurologist with Intercoastal Medical Group, leads the Intercoastal Memory Clinic, and serves as Medical Director of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Comprehensive Stroke Center. His work also includes clinical research in stroke, memory disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease, with patients having access to research and emerging treatment opportunities through the programs he helps lead. His postgraduate training includes fellowships in neuroepidemiology at Johns Hopkins and in dementia and cerebrovascular disease at the University of Miami. He is board certified in neurology with subspecialty certification in vascular neurology.
Manuel Gordillo, MD
Dr. Gordillo is an infectious disease physician and epidemiologist in Sarasota. Sarasota Memorial has recognized his leadership in infection prevention and control, his community-facing work during the COVID-19 response, and his contributions to clinical research and medical education. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease.
Michelle Robles, Esq.
Michelle Robles is the managing attorney of Robles Law, P.A. Her practice includes elder law and Medicaid planning, estate planning, special needs trusts, and related family-planning matters. Her education includes an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami, an LL.M. in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law, and a Juris Doctor from Barry University.
John L. Ferrari, Jr., Esq.
John Ferrari is the founder of Ferrari Elder Law. He counsels Florida families on elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, and long-term-care planning. He earned his Juris Doctor and a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law and previously earned an MBA from Babson College.
Michelle Hough, MBA
Michelle Hough is Chief Financial Officer of Intercoastal Medical Group. Her healthcare finance background includes executive financial leadership across physician practices, clinical operations, research, and other healthcare service lines. She was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a 2026 CFO of the Year honoree.
Giacomo Zandomenego
Giacomo Zandomenego is a retired advertising executive with more than 40 years of experience in leadership, strategic planning, marketing, and communications. He spent 36 years with Leo Burnett, holding senior management positions and ultimately serving as Group President of Leo Burnett Latin America and as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Following his retirement in 2005, he continued working with Leo Burnett as a consultant for an additional five years, until 2010. Born in Belluno, Italy, Giacomo grew up in Venezuela and later moved to the United States. Since retiring from Leo Burnett, he has remained actively involved in community and organizational initiatives. His extensive background in communications, brand strategy, organizational leadership, and community engagement brings a valuable perspective to the Alzheimer’s Care Alliance of Southwest Florida.
Amy Cipau, MBA, M.A.
After a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in management, marketing, and business development, Amy Cipau has dedicated the past 20 years to patient advocacy. She is Founder and Board Chair of Lung Cancer Initiative and a past Vice-Chair and board member of the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina. Amy holds an MBA and an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
